Sigridur Björk Bragadottir

CHEF AND OWNER OF SALT ELDHUS

REYKJAVIK, ICELAND

Sigridur Björk Bragadottir is the owner and CEO of Salt Eldhus, a gourmet culinary school located in Reykjavík. She has long been a lover of food, beginning to experiment in the kitchen at a young age, eventually enrolling in her first adult cookery course at 14. She is a chef, a food writer, and the former editor-in-chief of Gestgjafinn, Iceland’s premiere food and wine magazine. She established Salt Eldhus in 2012, and since then, the school has become a go-to for people wanting to learn more about Icelandic cuisine. We’re excited to join Sigridur for dinner, where we’ll get to make some traditional Icelandic dishes and receive a crash course on some fascinating Icelandic culinary history.
