After studying in both Switzerland and the US, Diana began her career in hospitality. 26 years later, and with the experience of living and working in countries all across the world, Diana has become the GM at Correntoso. She could be one of the first faces you see when we stay here during our Argentina-Patagonia experience!

1. WHEN YOU WERE A KID, WHAT DID YOU DREAM OF BEING WHEN YOU WERE GROWN UP?
Yes! My whole life I wanted to be a pediatrician, because I always knew that I wanted to be of service to people and make their lives better but at the same time I also wanted to travel around the world. When I was in the last year of high school I realized that there must be a career out there that combines both worlds, and that was hotel management. That is why I dedicated myself to get the best education in Switzerland, Argentina and the USA and worked hard from the employee line to where I am now.
2. WHAT WERE YOU DOING BEFORE JOINING THE TEAM AT CORRENTOSO?
I was a general manager in a 5 star hotel in Recoleta, Buenos Aires.
3. WHAT IS THE MOST INSPIRING PART ABOUT WORKING AT CORRENTOSO?
The ideology, being part of the history of a hotel more than 103 years old that is a pioneer in one of the most inhospitable yet beautiful areas of the country! Being able to share this with each guest and see how their soul lights up when they arrive in Corrientes inspires me daily.
4. WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE TO TELL A YOUNG WOMAN ASPIRING TO FOLLOW IN YOUR FOOTSTEPS?
Currently I have coached many women who have crossed my path, helping them and passing all my know-how to reach the goal. I always say that hard work, dedication, passion and being the example is the way to be a good leader and achieve the proposed goals.
5. IF YOU COULD TAKE A TRIP WITH ANY THREE PEOPLE WHO INSPIRE YOU, WHO WOULD THEY BE AND WHERE WOULD YOU GO?
Without a doubt my mother is one of the women who has inspired me on a professional and personal level because of her passion for her work and her passion for knowledge. The other great inspiration is one of the most important references in this industry that I had the opportunity to work with in various stages of my life and I always admire his simplicity, his humility, above all the knowledge and life experience he has, always seeing the bright side of things! I would love to travel to any part of the world where I can discover new flavors, new cultures and continue to enrich myself on a personal level.
6. WHAT DOES A DAY OFF LOOK LIKE FOR YOU?
At first it was very difficult for me to be able to enjoy myself outside of work, but today with my two children I enjoy every moment of the simple things! Things like love and nature always enrich me.
