Meet Rei, our incredible Trip Leader for our Japan Group Trips!

Born and raised in Yokohama, Japan, she attended an international school throughout her life, flourishing in a multicultural environment and becoming fluent in both Japanese and English. Her summers were spent in California and winters in Thailand due to her father's work, where she enjoyed diverse cuisines and cultures, always returning home with a perfect tan.

Her academic journey led her to NYU, where she embraced the opportunity to study abroad in Florence, Madrid, and New York. She fell in love with these vibrant cities and continues to visit them annually.

With a focus on the entertainment business, she gained extensive experience working at major record labels in both New York and Tokyo. Her career afforded her unforgettable experiences, including traveling the world and touring Japan with rockstars.

A passionate traveler and avid fisherman, she loves discovering hidden culinary gems wherever she goes. She lives by the Japanese philosophy of 一期一会 "Ichi go ichi e," meaning "one lifetime, one encounter," believing that every meeting holds a special significance. She looks forward to welcoming everyone to Japan and sharing her rich experiences.
