TOUR 1 - Mexico City Art & History
Discover Mexico City’s historic center as you navigate the country’s most important eras. Learn about the Aztecs at the ruins of Templo Mayor; observe from the Zócalo, Cathedral, and National Palace the city’s wave of massive change; and take in works by artists Diego Rivera, José Clemente Orzoco, and more at the Fine Arts Palace. We’ll wind down our architectural and artistic appreciation of culture and history at Alameda Central, the oldest park in the Americas.

TOUR 2 - Mexican Modern Art
Trace the evolutionary path of 19th and 20th century Mexican art. Starting at the Castle of Chapultepec, take in the collection of art and murals by Siqueiros and O’Gorman. At the Museum of Modern Art, marvel at the work of Frida Kahlo, Diego Rivera, and more. We’ll conclude at the Tamayo Museum with a deep dive into Rufino Tamayo’s art and influences.

TOUR 3 - Frida Kahlo & Anahuacalli
Visit Casa Azul, the former home of Frida Kahlo. Through laid-back conversation, learn about Kahlo’s life, work, and legacy. Afterward, we’ll visit the Anahuacalli Museum, which Frida’s husband - renowned yet controversial Diego Rivera - designed to showcase his vast collection of pre-Hispanic pieces.

TOUR 4 - Mexican Muralism
A crash course in Mexican muralism, which emerged at the start of the 20th century following the Mexican Revolution. We’ll visit landmark buildings home to works by Mexico’s iconic first-generation muralists: Diego Rivera, David Alfaro Siqueiros, and José Clemente Orozco. We’ll conclude at the National Palace, home to Rivera’s murals that depict Mexican history and his vision for the country’s future.

NATALIA ZERBATO
Although Natalia is originally from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, she has chosen Mexico as her home and place of research. Natalia has dedicated most of her adult life to studying the arts, fashion and the works of Frida Kahlo. In Mexico, she is broadening her education and studying Mexican art and the impacts it had in Mexican history. We partner with Natalia to lead special art tours in Mexico City.
